Treasure box - recycled invitation

Dear Friends,

Inspiration for last week for Recycle at IQCG and Unlock your potential at Unstampabelles.

This March month challenge at Unstampabelles - Unlock your potential - The twist is to add a key.......

Here is my inspiration to the theme. I made this treasure box out of an wedding invitation of a friend. I gave her the same after her marriage.  Told her the secret of the box. She felt very happy that i have not thrown the invitation into thrash which we normally do after the wedding is over.

Pasted the pattern paper over it, some quilled flowers, golden ball chain to add beauty. Added a Golden quilled key to fit into the challenge theme.

Hope you have an idea now.

You have another three days time to join us at IQCG and four days at Unstampabelles. Link your projects there.

Win gift vouchers at IQCG from your leading craft supply store Rainbow store and The crafdtshop store.

Recycled calendar

Dear friends,

This March at IQCG I have set the theme - "Recycle / Upcycle". Have recycled calendar in to photo frame.

http://indianquillingchallenge.blogspot.in/2016/03/iqcg24-recycle-upcycle.html

I have hoarded 2015 desktop calendar to make a tabletop photo frame.

I just removed the calendar sheets and painted the whole stand with white fabric paint. Then fixed the doilies and watercoloured it with poster colours. Stenciled it with modelling paste and decorated it with laces.

Fixed the photo slot in the centre by using old invitation and transparent sheet. Added quilled flowers and metal butter and added glitters to beautify. Printed the sentiments and pasted it over the doilies. My tabletop photo frame is ready.

Look forward to your altered / recycled projects. Click here to know the details about the challenge.
